Last month was an exciting time for Ellicott City, MD, where the Arthritis Foundation hosted their annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run on December 7th, in an effort to raise money to support research on arthritis. The event generated an amazing turnout, resulting in a total donation amount of $100,000. We were proud to support the foundation along every step of the run, though this is only one of the many organizations that gotügo has contributed to in the past year.

When the Arthritis Foundation decided to host its event in our region, we were thrilled to lend a helping hand in support of arthritis research. Our porta potty rental units made a perfect addition to the occasion, being conveniently located so that supporters and participants could take necessary breaks.
A bit about the Arthritis Foundation:
The Arthritis Foundation is the largest national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting all of the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions. Founded in 1948, with headquarters in Atlanta, the Arthritis Foundation boasts multiple service points located throughout the country. They are also the largest private, nonprofit contributor to arthritis research in the world, funding more than $450 million in research grants since 1948. The Foundation helps people take control of and manage arthritis by providing public health education; pursuing public policy and legislation; and conducting evidence-based programs to improve the quality of life for those living with the condition. Arthritis has a very high prevalence rate, and millions of Americans are affected each year. It is the most common cause of disability, however, it is also the most manageable. With this knowledge, gotügo was proud to help make a difference. Thank you to the Arthritis Foundation for enlisting our aid to shed light and awareness on arthritis. We were glad to be a partner in raising thousands of dollars for an amazing cause.
