Gotügo is proud to sponsor the 15th Annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge! The event helps to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland and took place on January 29, 2011 at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, Maryland.
The Special Olympics Maryland is the state’s largest organization supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities year round through sports training and competition. For a mere $50 in pledges, Plunge participants are eligible to take a quick dip into the Chesapeake Bay and will automatically receive the official Polar Bear Plunge Sweatshirt and of course the bragging rights over all those who can’t stand a little chill.
The Plunge is then followed by a fun filled day of family festivities and music celebrations including the Carnival FunFest including sand sculpting, face painting, costume contests games and dancing!
