Here, at gotügo, we’re dedicated to supporting our local community, and it’s the time of year where we get to serve once again! We’re proud to assist the Maryland Therapeutic Riding (MTR) organization in the rehabilitation of riders with special needs. Some of the health challenges that these individuals face are physical, developmental, and emotional in nature. MTR works to improve the quality of their lives through increasing the balance, strength, self-image, and self-confidence of those with special needs. gotügo has partnered with MTR’s efforts in the past, and we look forward to providing our services again this year. For over 30 years, gotügo has been committed to fostering the community at-large. Whether we’re supporting local events, or providing our products and services to those in need, its always our priority to be involved in our local community and economy. Another way that we’ve done this is by offering the gotügo Scholarship.

We believe that education drives success, and have chosen to offer our scholarship to help curb the ever-rising cost of college tuition. In partnership with Howard Community College, we have created a fund that will allow two students to attend HCC and ensure the tradition of excellence that the college has built. We specifically target deserving students who face difficult financial circumstances that would otherwise prevent them from attending college. The goal is to allow equal opportunity for these students to achieve their educational and career goals. (more…)

Naval Academy Athletics has partnered with gotügo for the 2013 Navy women’s lacrosse season! We wish the women’s team all the best, and support them in making the 2013 season a great one.

The women are preparing for the start of the season, which open with the Blue & White Scrimmage against the Davidson Wildcats at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, MD. The game will take place on Saturday, January 24, the time is scheduled to be announced at a later date.

Last season, the Navy women’s lacrosse team went on to win the Patriot League Championship, beating Holy Cross for the title. The women also made it to the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship, suffering a defeat to Duke University in the second round. (more…)

Last month was an exciting time for Ellicott City, MD, where the Arthritis Foundation hosted their annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run on December 7th, in an effort to raise money to support research on arthritis. The event generated an amazing turnout, resulting in a total donation amount of $100,000. We were proud to support the foundation along every step of the run, though this is only one of the many organizations that gotügo has contributed to in the past year.

Since the business’s inception over thirty years ago, the organization has built a reputation that is unmatched among its competitors. When the Arthritis Foundation decided to host its event in our region, we were thrilled to lend a helping hand in support of arthritis research. Sep. 13, 2013 - Hospice Cup XXXII is coming to Annapolis, MD on September 21st with gotügo eager to support this important fundraiser! The Hospice Cup helps to raise funds for hospice programs throughout Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. The focus for 2013 funds is Pediatric Hospice care and support. Participating hospices use funds raised through Hospice Cup to continue to offer quality, end-of-life care to patients, their families and friends. This is one of many exciting events gotügo will contribute to in the year 2013.

Sep. 12, 2013 - The Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Bull Roast on September 6th with gotügo there to support, ready to roll!

Did you know...this fire department has been serving the communities of Riviera Beach since 1931? They have a total of 3 career persons per shift to staff the fire equipment and the ambulance...the rest are volunteers! This is one of many exciting events gotügo has supported in the year 2013.
