All event planners are at least moderately familiar with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. As a refresher, the annual festival takes place in Indio, California at the Empire Polo Club. Although it was officially established in 1999, its roots date back to 1993 when Pearl Jam performed at the Club as a means of boycotting ticket fees from Ticketmaster. Presently, Coachella takes place over consecutive three-day weekends and attracts some of the best acts in music. It also attracts some huge crowds - in 2014, an estimated 570,000 people attended over the six days of the festival.

Run or Dye Colorful 5K Run – May 24, 2014
The world’s most colorful 5K is back for another event in the DC area! This year, Run or Dye has partnered with Kid Power Inc. to host an unforgettable run along the Anacostia River. There will be several waypoints along the race route where runners will be pelted with tons of paint! The colorful concoctions are eco-friendly, plant-derived, and washable, so there are no worries when it come to getting nice and covered. (more…)
We’re back in the community to help out with another incredible effort. On May 17, 2014, gotügo will be providing our services to the American Diabetes Association in accordance with this year’s Tour de Cure. It is the Chesapeake Bay’s third annual tour, and 750 riders will join forces in the fight to stop diabetes. The tour is meant to raise essential funds for diabetes research, advocacy, and education.
There are routes for cyclists of all experience levels, and the ADA encourages everyone to participate in the initiative. Each route has plenty of sights, which is going to make for an amazing riding experience. (more…)
