Bello Machre manages a total of 54 assisted living homes in Anne Arundel County that nurtures and cares for hundreds of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Gotügo was proud to donate its time and services to the American Cancer Society to aid in their fight against cancer. The “Relay for Life” events took place all around Anne Arundel County, Maryland throughout the months of May and June 2008. Gotügo contributed their Two-way Sinks and ADA Units along with their “signature green” Standard Portable Restroom Units to various “Relay for Life” events all around Anne Arundel County. “Relay” is an overnight event to stress the fact that cancer never sleeps so for one night neither did the participants! The Relay For Life of West Anne Arundel County event had over 425 participants and raised close to $60,000. The 2008 Relay For Life of Southern Anne Arundel County event raised more than $165,000 with over 650 participants! This is one of many cancer fundraising events that gotügo has participated in the year 2008.

Gotügo is proud to have donated its time and services to the 13th Annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge. The event took place on January 23rd and 24th to help raise money for the Special Olympics Maryland, the state’s largest year round organization dedicated to helping over 10,000 child and adults with intellectual disabilities. For a minimum of $50 in pledges, Plungers were able to participate in the ice cold dip into the Chesapeake Bay. To date, the event has raised close to $360,000 in donations! This will be one of many fundraising events gotügo will contribute to in the year 2009.

The proceeds will go towards the Empowerment M.I.N.D.S Foundation – Motivating and Inspiring Neighborhoods Determined to Succeed, founded by Daniel Wilcox of the Baltimore Ravens. The foundation’s primary goal is to aid the inner city youth enhancing their access to reading materials, technology and cultural opportunities. Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to this year’s 16th annual Komen Maryland Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This race was held on Sunday, October 20th in honor and in memory of all those individuals whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. There were approximately 32,000 participants that walked, jogged and ran to help raise more than $2.8 million!
Gotügo was one of the many donors and volunteers to help make this event a true success. Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is dedicated to finding the cure for breast cancer. A portion of the funds are used to support the National Komen Award and Research Grant Program. This is one of the many fundraising events gotügo has contributed to this year.

Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to this years Hospice Cup XXVII in their efforts to help various hospices including the Hospice of the Chesapeake, Capital Hospice, Montgomery Hospice and the Community Hospices. This special event will take place on Saturday, September 27th with the hopes of surpassing the $7 million dollars raised to date since the inception of the event. The funds raised during the Hospice Cup regattas help cover the costs of services not covered by Medicare and private insurance companies.

From September 27-28, Ripken Stadium will be host to the 12th season of the Harford LIVE! Home and Garden Show. Billed as the "ultimate family weekend destination", the event will feature 350 exhibits with products, services, and information based around the home and garden. Gotügo is pleased to announce they'll be providing porta potties for the show! They were also the sole portable restroom provider at the last Harford LIVE! show back in April.
Gotügo was proud to donate their time and services to this year’s “HonFest” on June 14th – 15th. The proceeds from the HonFest will go to Project Twelve, founded by Denise Whiting, owner of Café Hon, in the effort to decrease the high school dropout rate of teenagers in Baltimore. Once a small festival starting in 1994, it has grown into a nationally recognized event covering four city blocks on Hampden’s 36th street.
This years HonFest attracted more than 60,000 people that utilized gotügo’s new “signature green” portable restrooms along Hamden Street to help make HonFest a success!
